The Liberty Humane Society is operated by a board of directors who are elected to oversee the activities of the Liberty Humane Society as determined by its by-laws. The current board members are:

Staff
The Liberty Humane Society is composed of a variety of positions ranging from management and development to volunteer coordination to hands on animal caregivers. Their varied skills allow Liberty Humane Society to provide the community with an array of programs and services. The management of the Liberty Humane Society has spent a vast amount of time, education, and training in animal welfare. Their combined years of experience in the field totals over 50 and includes expertise in such areas as shelter management, wildlife handling and care, animal control, cruelty investigations, teaching, pet therapy, fundraising, and animal medical care and treatment.
