Adopt a Cat!
Thank you for your interest in adopting a cat from Liberty Humane Society. Many of our available cats are listed below, however we have many more at the shelter waiting for loving homes.
You will also notice that some animals have “Foster” listed next to their names. These animals are up for adoption, however, they reside in a home with an LHS volunteer instead of at the shelter. If you are interested in meeting any of these animals, please send an email to the foster parent’s address which is included in the dog or cat’s page. If one is not listed, then please send an email to lhs@libertyhumane.org to be put in touch with the LHS adoption counselors.

The Liberty Humane Society thanks you for your interest to adopt a cat in NJ. We try to keep the petfinder listing as accurate as possible, but please call if you are interested in kittens. Please do not buy a cat or kitten or respond to "kittens for sale" ads. Instead, please choose to adopt a shelter pet and save a life!
