Adopt a Dog!
Thank you for your interest in adopting a dog from Liberty Humane Society. Many of our available dogs are listed below, however we have many more at the shelter waiting for loving homes.
You will also notice that some animals have “Foster” listed next to their names. These animals are up for adoption, however, they reside in a home with an LHS volunteer instead of at the shelter. If you are interested in meeting any of these animals, please send an email to the foster parent’s address which is included in the dog or cat’s page. If one is not listed, then please send an email to email@example.com to be put in touch with the LHS adoption counselors.
If you would like to adopt a Liberty Dog, please fill out a dog application (below).

The Liberty Humane Society thanks you for your interest to adopt a dog in NJ. We try to keep the petfinder listing as accurate as possible, but please call if you are interested in puppies. Please do not buy a dog or respond to "puppies for sale" or "dogs for sale" ads. Instead, please choose to adopt a shelter pet and save a life!
