Event Registration
Registering for the Bark in the Park 2011 charity dog walk and pet expo is done online through Firstgiving Register through Firstgiving and gain access to all the tools you'll need to spread the word and reach your personal fundraising goal for LHS! You will have the choice of registering as an individual, starting your own team, or joining an existing team.
Personalize your fundraising page and collect pledges from family and friends directly through the site, or by having them complete a pledge form.
The minimum registration fee for individuals is $25, but we encourage everyone to set their own fundraising goal.
It's not about how far you walk; everyone is welcome! Not able to attend the walk but still want to do your part? Register as a virtual walker and collect pledges from home via your Firstgiving website!
Fabulous prizes awarded to top three highest pledge totals! in order to be considered for a top fundraising spot all pledge forms and money must be received by LHS by October 15
Important Notes on Bringing a Dog
You must bring proof of rabies vaccination to the event. Either a valid rabies tag or your rabies certificate must be presented as you enter the park.
Your dog must get along with other dogs and be comfortable in crowds.
No retractible leashes are allowed!
Each participant may only bring one dog.
Please clean up after your dog and be respectful of others in the park who may not be participating in the event. There is a children's play area right next to where we will be; please keep dogs a respectful distance away from this area.
If your dog is distressed or behaving in a manner not appropriate to the event we will ask you to remove him/her from the park.
