(Jersey City, July 1, 2010) Though it still seems uncertain whether the new Obamacare legislation will deliver quality and affordable healthcare for us, it has finally arrived for our pets. Liberty Humane Society’s Wellness Clinic, offering low-cost annual vaccinations, tests and spay/neuter, will officially
open its doors on Thursday, July 8th, from 5 to 8 PM.
Low-cost services will include vaccinations for rabies, distemper, bordatella, Lyme, and FeLV.
All just $20 per vaccination! Wellness testing will include the 4 DX Test (Heartworm, Lyme, Anaplasmosis, Ehrlichiosis) for dogs, and the FeLV/FIV test for cats. Both tests are just $30 each!
Other services include microchipping for $35 and nail clipping for $15. You will be impressed with the quality service and simply can’t beat the prices!
“We are delighted to be an affordable and easily accessible resource for the area’s pet owners. We realize that the proper care of an animal can be expensive and want to provide an affordable option for wellness care,” said Janet Russell, Liberty Humane Society’s Director of Development.
Liberty Humane Society Wellness Clinic is located in the shelter’s mobile spay/neuter vet unit, 235 Jersey City Boulevard, directly across from the Liberty Science Center. It will be open each Thursday evening from 5 to 8 PM. No appointment necessary. No exam fee. No client restrictions including income and residency. All pet owners are welcome. Liberty Humane Society’s services are limited to the routine preventive services listed above. They are unable to care for all of your pet’s veterinary needs.
