LIBERTY HUMANE SOCIETY RANKS FOURTH PLACE IN ZOOTOO.COM'S NATIONAL SHELTER MAKEOVER CONTEST SEMIFINALS
America to Vote on Top Ten Finalists for $1 Million Makeover
JERSEY CITY, N.J. (March XX, 2009) – Liberty Humane Society (LHS), a Jersey City-based non-profit organization dedicated to finding loving homes for stray and orphaned pets, announced today that it ranked fourth place out of 20 semifinalists in Zootoo.com’s second annual “National Shelter Makeover Program.”
This marks the beginning of the second stage of the three-phase Online contest. In the first phase, thousands of shelter supporters earned points for their affiliated shelter by being active on Zootoo.com, a social networking site for pet lovers. In the second phase, Zootoo and its advisors will tour the top 20 ranking shelters in order to narrow them down to 10 finalists. [more...]
