4. Name Your Price = SUCCESS!
Experiment successful! This year, Liberty Humane held a “Name Your Own Price” adoption promotion in October for the first time in the shelter’s history. This type of promotion, which allows adopters to pick their own adoption fee, has been successful in other shelters throughout the nation. Now it was LHS's turn to give it a whirl.
Throughout the month, LHS adopted out 126 animals!!! That’s one of LHS’s best months ever for adoptions! Amazingly, it was also exciting to see that many of the adopters chose to pay an adoption fee of $100+.
